Carpe Diem: snowboarding
As I uncoordinatedly reached to silence my alarm, I knew that this day would be different from any other. This indescribable feeling overcame me, as if some spirit was trying to reach out to me, advising me to take advantage of this day. We began to glide down the mountain, slowly gathering speed, and weaving through the snow. It was the kind of setting which can only exists within the depths of your imagination. With that constant threat of danger in the back of my mind, I felt this remarkable feeling. Once we arrived it became apparent that myself along with my two comrades were the only people present throughout the entire mountain. From that day I learned the only way to get the most out of life is to live each day like it's my last, and to strive for that wonderful feeling.
