Acceptance Essay
Ever since I was a little kid I have loved sports and recreation activities. I participated in many activities, and at a young age decided that when I was older I wanted a job in the sport field. When I attended high school I was a member of the soccer team, as well as winter and spring track. During high school I could not wait to go out and start practicing, I also was able to enjoy the ninety
minutes of gym class I had each day. As I attend Springfield College I hope to obtain the training and skills needed to enter the workforce ready for any challenge that comes my way. My interest in Springfield College is adopted from the confidence I have that the faculty will give me the experience needed to have a successful business career. I enjoyed anything with physical activity, so when I met with my guidance counselor he advised me to pursue a degree in either the recreation or the sports field. I have read about how I can learn about the methods of teaching and coaching. After talking to a few people about my interests they recommended to me that I look in to attending Springfield College. I looked at the programs they offered and decided that I would like to attend the school in hopes of receiving a degree, and starting a career in the field that has interested me since I was a young child. Springfield College, in my opinion offers the best chance for me to pursue a degree in an athletic profession.
