Revenge Cluster

             The heart is capable of some very noble emotions and feelings but in the same
             time it has the most ancient and despicable feeling of them all vengence.In all three
             stories that we observe a common theme ,the use of the Babylonian principle "An
             eye for an eye , a tooth for a tooth " . In Edgar Alan Poe`s " The Cask of
             Amontillado" because of an insult Montresor kills Fortunado . In Luise Erdich`s
             "Fleur" the little girl kills Duch , Tor and Lilly for what they did to Fleur and
             maybe for her the way they were treating her . In Andre Dudus`s "Killings" Matt
             kills the man that killed his son , Strout .
             All the stories have a similar plot , taking advantage of something around them the
             characters precede with their plan in having their revenge in the people that harmed
             them . All the characters used in these stories by Poe, Erdich and Dudus had reasons
             for the action they committed and they thought that the way to go was revenge but in
             the end they realized it was not quite what they expected.
             The Cask of Amontillado presents as main characters two so called friends in the
             high society in medieval Italy, Fortunado and Montresor . Fortunado a rich man with
             no worries, just looking for a good time in live and with a great passion for wine, we
             can say from the story he has a very competitive nature and has the opinion he is the
             best in the field that he excels , wine tasting and will stop at nothing to prove it.
             Montresor on the other hand is a more calm person, does not take so much joy out of
             life, takes things to seriously, we can see this in the fact that his whole revenge plan
