Global Warming and its Correlation to Overpopulation
In today's society we as a population are concerned with our ever-changing environment. One of the largest concerns in our ecosystem is overpopulation and the direct impact adhering to global warming. The global climate is increasing steadily, correlating between the population size and human industry. It is a big question right now, if our world has over exceeded its carrying capacity. The fact that the earth’s non-renewable resources are being rapidly absorbed into industry, will eventually lead us to major ecological disasters. Why are we becoming over populated? There are two main reasons to over population. Number one, people are living longer due to the Medical and Technical revolutions. Number two, we are having children at a earlier age; an example of this would be the abundant amount of teen pregnancies. Global warming exists because of over population. Global warming affects everything like weather, temperature, plants and crops, wildlife, humans, and the sea level. According to IPCC Second Assessment Report (1995), “ if future climate changes occur as rapidly as scientist predict, plants and animals may not be able to react quickly enough to survive. Plants and crops like animals are also affected by global warming. There are two widely known theories concerning population and food. This is because for some people birth control is unheard of. It is important to keep in mind that the rising sea level has not and will not contribute to the global warming process; instead it is dramatically affected by global warming. Animals are able to adapt to the changing environment over time, but if global warming occurs swiftly, the animals may not have time to adapt.
