Three Things About Myself
There are three valuable characteristics about my personality that you should remember: first, that I am a fast learner; next, I am an enthusiastic and hard working employee; and finally, that I am a highly creative person. It does not matter what the job is, I can execute it. An example of this fact can be seen in my schooling. When I began at The Art Institute of Houston, I had no previous knowledge of design software. After only one year, not only have I become skilled at Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Freehand, Quark Xpress, Macromedia Director, as well as html, but also I have been hired for four different freelance jobs. When I am passionate about my work, I go at it. Although it has been one of the hardest tasks I have undertaken, I am proud to say that I accomplish my goals in school and work daily. And as you can tell from looking at my portfolio, my work itself is also diverse. However, I did not keep the position in the lab only because I can pick things up quickly, but also due to my sound work ethic. I take pride in what I do, and I am never satisfied until the job is done. Even with the tremendous amount of work both of these tasks require, I still manage to keep my productivity at work up while maintaining a high GPA, and also complete freelance work in my spare time. As you can imagine, working and going to school were difficult tasks to juggle. So if you are looking for an employee who can pick up and adjust to any work environment, work effectively and efficiently, as well as produce high-quality and creative designs, then look no further. Whether it is on my lunch break, early in the morning before work, or in the car on the way to school, I always find time to do my work. “Pleasure in the job puts perfection in the work”. One example of my commitment is the fact that I work 25 or more hours a week as well as go to class 16 to 20 hours a week.
