Even though women in he Ottoman Empire, Japan, and Mughal had different rights they were still very few. Female aristocrats had rights to earn salaries, own land, and run businesses. They could also inherit land after their husbands. But as time went on The respect for women had grown through arts, politics, and economics. Wives and mothers were respected by male rulers because they had been raised as boys. Even though women had certain rights they were still subservient to thier husbands. But upper class women had the right to own property after their husbands death. One harsh thing about the rights was that wives had to obey there husbands or would be punished severely. In Mughal India women were allowed certain rights. Lower class women were affected most in the Islamic society. In Japan women lived under fewer rights than the Ottamons. They were mostly in the samurai class because they were guided by Confucian teams.
