Road Rage
Working and running my errands in Orlando requires a lot of time on the road. Traveling to and from work, I have come to the conclusion that there are three types of drivers: The tunnel vision driver, the race-against-time driver, and the brake friendly driver. The tunnel vision driver usually locates his or herself in the left lane. They go under the speed limit and pay attention to what's in front of them only. Traveling at a slow pace, they believe that only one person exists on the road and that remains them. Tunnel vision drivers make the flow of traffic in consistent and rigid. When a speed limit sign comes into view, they quickly step on the brakes. Drivers remain either slow, fast, or a combination of the two. In conclusion, driving a lot in Orlando has given me insight on what type of drivers make up the streets. does not happen when this type of driver occupies the street. Their speed fluctuates while driving. When changing lanes on the road, they come to a stop and then try to get over. The race-against-time driver can be found in the fast or the slow lane whichever quicker of the two. Traveling at a fast rate, they dodge any car in their path and try to beat the clock. If brake lights appear a mile ahead, they automatically slam on brakes to avoid an accident. The second type of driver feeds off of the slower drivers. They act overly cautious and concentrate on any potential hazard. This type of driver always goes at least ten miles per hour over the speed limit. Finally, the third type of driver, called the brake friendly driver makes their way through the left lane. The tunnel vision driver, the race-against-time driver, and the brake friendly driver create the flow of traffic. Instead of changing lanes, they insist on following close behind the car in front of them till intimidation takes over and the driver switches lanes.
