Should the mere fact that criminals committing crimes with the use of guns infringe thenational right of the innocent to possess guns. This is a question that arouses everywhereand no matter which way it is viewed the controversy will always go on. "A gun is a meretool that can be used for good or evil. Our country is based on the belief that man is gooduntil he or she is proven to be otherwise."(Harris p.2) This means that only a few peopleare committing crimes with uses of guns and why completely remove them from society.Therefore, we should strenuously protect the rights of free men and likewise prosecuteand punish the criminals who abuse the rights of others. The problem with gun violence is associated with the child's atmosphere.Moreover, we need to educate young children about responsibly handling guns andeducate them to respect life and the life's of others. The movement of gun control exploitsevery celebrated act violence and offsetting the hundreds of thousands of cases in whichguns are used as defensive weapons to save live and property of the innocent. Most Americans who believe that more guns mean more crime are afraid ofpeople carrying handguns in public places and believe that people doing so would causeminor grievances to escalate into a gunfight. On the other hand, the ones who grow up indifficult homes that have unaffectionate parents tend to turn to crime as a way out or theyare just doing what they think is right. This is why the issue on gun control wasever brought up, from scared and frightened people. (Lott 12) in theUnited States there are 80,000 to 82,000 defensive uses of guns during assaults, robberiesand household burglaries. Instead, a competing idea has grown up to explain violenceamong us. Our country is very restrictive when granting the public to own or carry guns. 22 of them have committed a crimes where a gun was involved. The Amendments havebeen set and not altered for hundreds of years. Theses activists have their minds made up because no matter who says what or whathappens they are negative on guns, despite the facts. Gun control activists oppose all the factual statistics that have ever been proventhey do this because they are denying the truth that guns will cause more good that harm. Even as the clearest evidence has vindicated this policy, opponents of tough criminaljustice laws deny its efficacy. But, in reality handguns in the handsof law-abiding citizens deter violent crimes while producing no significant rise ingun-related crimes; moreover, it has made them decrease considerably. Out of the 1,000,000 times guns are used for defensive reasonsin the world 400,000 of theses cases have saved lives or prevented lives from being taken. Therefore, our government came up with the "Shall Issue" law, which prevents anyone toown, or posses guns that have a record of criminal injustices or a record of mental illness.
