Intelligent Designs Effect on Science

             The cosmos, whether you believe in Biblical Creation, evolution, or intelligent design is a very interesting subject. Creation, as documented in the Bible in Genesis 1:1 states that "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." It shows that God created the universe and all living things out of love, in a particular order, and with a particular purpose. Evolution portrays the origin of life as starting out with the "big bang". The collision of two atmospheres, both atmospheres having the ability to create life as we know it. Intelligent design is not based on Genesis or any religious teaching. Intelligent design is based on scientific data, but is deeply rooted in Biblical Creation. The difference between intelligent design and Biblical Creation is that intelligent design is based on scientific evidence, from such sciences as genetics, geology, thermodynamics and paleontology; while Biblical Creation is based on strictly the Bible. In examining the above beliefs, Biblical Creation, evolution and intelligent design, I view intelligent design as an attempt to make a lateral connection between evolution and Biblical Creation.
             The defenders of intelligent design claim that they do not reject evolution simply because it does not fit with their understanding of the Bible. However, they present natural selection implies the universe could not have been designed or created. Intelligent design supporter believe that some organisms just cannot have evolved through a course of random mutations. Supporters of intelligent design believe that a designer is more of a rational explanation of our planets organisms, rather then a world full highly implausible chance happenings. Defenders of evolution believe that these chance happenings is precisely how more complex creatures came into existence.
