Smoking Should be Banned in Public Buildings
Smoking is a disgusting and rude habit. Smoking should be banned from all public buildings. Smokers would say that it shouldn't matter if they smoke if they are in the smoking section. What these smokers don't realize, is that their "imaginary" border between sections does not hold the smoke in. Cigarette smoke fills the entire room when someone smokes in it. Walking into a room in which someone has been smoking is like walking into a room that has just been tear-gassed. The smoke then seeps into your clothes and hair, so you reek by the time you leave the building. Non-smokers aren't used to smelling that way and probably have to shower when they get home. The smell is so disgusting you feel as if you have a dirty film covering yo
And everyone notices you when you walk by, because they just got a blast of stench blown right in their face. Don't subject everyone around you to your disgusting smoke because you feel like it. When a room is full of cigarette smoke you have no choice but to sit in the midst of the putrid cloud. These images almost make you want to go light up a cigarette right now. Go smoke outside by yourself and then you will only be hurting yourself. Smokers think they look so "cool" when they smoke. No "butts" about it, smoking is a rude, disgusting habit and should not be allowed in any public building. So what's the harm? Secondhand smoke kills a lot of people every year. And surely everyone wants to talk to you so they can get a more concentrated blast of trench breath straight into their nostrils. Smokers think they aren't hurting anyone but themselves if they choose to smoke. In conclusion, everyone in public buildings should be able to enjoy a clean smoke free environment. It is also a non-smokers right not to breathe and wallow in the smoker's secondhand smoke when in public. In the case of smoking, these rights should be taken away if it conflicts with those of everyone else in the room.
