John F. Kennedys legacy as president of the United States goes beyond the assasination. JFK was looked at as a symbol of progressive liberalism who would be against such wars as the war in Vietnam and the Cold War. Many conspiracy theorist believe that the asssasination was an attempt to stop the progressive ideas of Kennedy. But above all else Kennedy was looked at as a gifted speaker and leader who was assertive and always had his hand on the pulse of America.

On top of this very legitamite motive there is also some evidence which supports the idea that Oswald is guilty of this act.
The investigation of this incident might suggest that the government was covering something up, possibly the fact that the CIA was responsible. This film explains why the two police riding to the left rear of the limo were splattered with blood. The government simply ignored many witnesses who claimed to see shots from the grassy knolls or who saw other things which would go against the lone gunmen theory. Hours later courtesy of several eyewitness accounts Lee Harvey Oswald was located and arrested. Some claim that this man might have actually given a sign to someone triggering the shots are maybe actually used the Umbrella to fire a dart at Kennedy. Kennedy was immediately treated when he reached the Hospital but the damage was too severe and by 1:00 pm the President was officialy pronounced dead. On November 18th just five days prior to the assasination Kennedy gave an address in Miami in which he criticized Castro. Again there are legitimate motives presented that suggest the FBI might have had something to do with this assasination. This gun was assumingly owned by Oswald whose handwriting matched the handwriting used to fill out the money order and order form to purchase the gun. Kennedy, but again there is many possible motives presented which make it believable that Oswald did actually assasinate Kennedy. Oswald was a former Marine and Served over seas for several years, while in the Marines he was tested several times for his shooting skills, he both times received very respectable scores and received the ranking of a marksmen. While Public opinion does not support this theory the government continues to insist that this indeed is what took place, and despite the attempts by conspiracy theorist to shun this idea there is a great deal of information which seemingly validates this story. Johnson was sworn in as the 36th president of the United States.
