Once the street lights are on, the illegal street racers hit the streets. Since the movie "Fast and The Furious" thousands of teens and young adults have entered the illegal street racing scene. Some people could say it's a good thing, but many others are against it. Illegal street racing is keeping many teens and young adults from selling drugs, being involved with gangs and many other things in which they could be doing wrong.
             Law enforcements have been having a serious problem with these so called "Street Racers" since Fall of 2002, when the movie "Fast and The Furious" hit theatres. As my uncle being in law enforcement, I asked him what he thought "do you think street racing is what people make it?" my uncle replies with "the media makes these street racers sound like everybody who gets a speeding ticket, well, they must be a street racer." I happen to have many friends in which are a part of the illegal street races and they say its not what people make it. They race only on streets in which have a dense population, if that. The race is always set up ahead of time. The two racers talk over where they will race, and if money is involved. Yes, street racing is illegal, but why do cops concentrate on the racers so much.
