This past summer, my mom was going on a business trip to San Diego, and she asked me if I wanted to come along. We had gone to Florida a few times in the past and I loved the coast, and big cities, so I said yes. She also asked me if I wanted to take a friend along and I thought that would be awesome, because I would get to have someone to hang out with down there, instead of being alone. So I took my friend Cole A, he is a year older than me. We both took work off, and went down there for 5 days.
             Cole has never been in an airplane before, so the plane ride itself was exciting for him. We flew from Minot, to Minneapolis, then to Los Angeles, and then finally to San Diego. He loved the plane ride, I think that he took half a role of pictures before we even got to San Diego. I like the airports because you are exposed to a lot of different culture. In Minneapolis, for example, there are people coming and going from all over the world, not just the Unites States. They also have a large selection of shops that you can visit while you wait for your flight. When we were there, we only had a 30 min wait, but our flight was cancelled so we had a lot of time to hang around the airport. Because our flight was cancelled, that messed up our preceding connections. It was a real mess, and my mom wasn't even on the same flight path as us, and she was already there for four hours. We had to take a smaller plane from Los Angeles to San Diego to complete the trip.
             When we got to San Diego, we went right to the hotel, and both Cole and I were tired. I was sick, and I went to sleep, and his foot was hurting. He went to the doctor there and it turns out he had an ingrown toenail. I slept for a few hours and then we went exploring around the town.
