Friendship
There are days when you cannot help but feel sad and blue. I know very well, because I have them too. Now what can cure or change this atmosphere? A friend will do the trick. But what is a friend? The definition of a friend cannot be limited. It can be a person whom you know, like, and trust. It could be a person with whom one is allied in a struggle or cause. It could be who supports, sympathizes with, or patronizes a group. So this could be a girlfriend, boyfriend, pet, pal, best friend, or even a family member. An example would be when I had a flat tire. I was on my way to school. I was almost late for class, so the last thing I wanted to happen at the moment was to get a flat tire. And that was exactly what I got, thanks to the nail that was stuck in the tire. Now I know I will have to miss
It is really hard when your life consists of no money coming in but a lot of money going out. I also had to ask my friends that go to Kansas University if they were willing to skip their class and meet me in Kansas City to show me the way around. Therefore, I do not even know how to get there or even know my way around. There was a time when I could not come to class for one whole week because I had to be out of town. The happiness they bring always gives a lift. I could not pay my phone bills because I had other financial problems. I do not know what I would have done if I would not have found any helping hands. There was one time when I had to go to Kansas City for my naturalization process. My pal in the class copied the lecture notes for me.
