His dad got him out and taught him himself and some of the kids in the neighbor hood he tried jobs as a storekeeper and a farmer and failed.
Patrick Henry was elected to the Virginia House of Burgesses and he will always be remembered as a great man and famous American. He tried as a lawyer and seemed to like it. He loved to listen to the rain fall on his roof. He gave one of the most famous speeches in history that inspired a lot of the people.
