Buddy Fox, liven is a small, cramped, and old apartment in the big apple. Buddy works weekdays from 9:30am to 4:00pm as a stockbroker, he buys and sells stock for other people over the phone and computer in a cubical. Buddy was different from the other brokers, his dream was to make the big times, just like his idle, Mr. Gecko. Buddy had tried getting a meeting with Mr. Gecko for a long time, but one day his hard work and effort paid off, he came to his office and they had a long talk. Gecko liked what Buddy was telling him but he wanted to be more interested, Buddy told him of a plane

Gecko is a very rich, greedy, bad, and snobby person, he has so much money and he gets it mostly from illegal insider trading. Gecko took Buddy’s advice and bought some stock off the market to make money, and made a heavy profit of millions, Gecko calls Buddy and gives him one million dollars as thanks for the help. The movie was very good and I taught me a lot about the stock market and the seriousness of insider trading. crash and its relationship with today’s market, Gecko was impressed. Gecko were very good and convincing actors, also all though this story was very though out, it’s not true, its morals are wrong and its description of today’s business and the stock market aren’t true. Gecko decides to meet up with Buddy again and make a deal with him, he wants Buddy to get him insider information and Gecko will reward Buddy with lots of money. But that all changed when Buddy’s father entered the picture.
In conclusion, the movie was really unfair, and doesn’t relate to today’s real business ethics. Although it may have been interesting and a well plotted story, that’s all it is, just a story, today’s stock market economy is heavily watched for insider trading, and no one dares to try it. Buddy’s father works for a plane making company, this company and its owners, including Buddy’s dad, came for a meeting in Buddy’s new condominium, to talk about a new company plan.
