Abortion

Abortion, termenation of pregnancy before birth, resulting in, or accompanied by, the death of the fetus. It has become one of the most widely debated ethical issues of our time. Some people say women should be able to have one, and some say they should not. I believe this should be allowed.
At one end of this ethical spectrum you have people, like me who believe the fetus is only a potential human being being until visible. Until this time the fetus has no legal rights-- the rights belong to the woman carrying the fetus, who can dedcide whether or not to bring the pregnancy to full term. I have to agree with this issue. The baby truely is not a baby until it is born. You are just killing a fertilized egg.
There is also the issue was this woman possibly raped. If she was she should be forced to have a baby? NO!!! She probably was not even panning on having a baby, so why should she ruin her life just to please people? If you talk about ethical, this is not.
Abortion should also be allowed if you know your child is going to be handicapped physically or mentally. In our world today if you are handicapped in any way, you are considered different or a freak. It can also be very expensive to take care of a handicapped child.
On a down side women do not have to take responsibility for thier actions. Many women use abortion to get out of the reponsibilies of a child, but if you use birth control you are fine, and have made an effort to protect yourself.
I have listed many good reasons why abortion should be able to happen, and all of them are reasonable. Most people would tell you to say abortion is wrong, but think about the good reasons and morals to grant abortion. ABORTION- VERY ETHICAL!!!!
