After reviewing the endless amount of challenges I am going to encounter, I think my greatest transitional challenge is going to be the simple fact that I am going to be on my own. This challenge is in many ways bitter sweet. I am going to have several freedoms I?ve neve

Meeting this challenge of being on my own is going to be incredibly tough, but at the same time it will be incredibly rewarding.
Living with my parents for seventeen years has given me the luxury of having few responsibilities. Also during my senior year I am going to begin learning to do my own laundry and dishes, so that in college it will be more of a routine for me rather than a problem. If I plan out my schedule and give studying, classes, homework, chores, sleep and socializing each their fair share of time I should be one step closer in meeting my challenge. I think however, once I meet the greatest challenge of being on my own, the amount of other challenges I have will diminish down until there are none left and I am completely comfortable in my new environment. Simple things like getting meals on my own, doing my own laundry, and doing other chores are going to become tasks that I am going to have to complete on my own. Once in college, I will continue to have those responsibilities along with everything my parents have to this point done for me. One of the worst parts is no one will be knocking on my door making sure I?ve done my share of studying and homework for the night. Professors in college are not going hound me if I were to miss a class, and won?t be on my case if something is not turned in on time like teachers in high school are.
There are going to be many other challenges I am going to have to face in my transition from high school to college. r experienced before, but in turn I am going to have to give up many securities I have grown quite fond of.
