Bible

The Bible is very powerful. Men live by it, swear upon it, and die for it. Those who believe in its teachings take the words very seriously because those words are the foundation to their faith. For thousands of years the sixty-six books of the Bible have been studied and debated. The concepts, beliefs, and principles described in the Bible are under constant discussion, and perhaps the most debated topic in the Bible is that of taking another man's life. God makes it very clear that His followers are not to take another man's life, but there are many sections in the Bible that deal with this very subject. In The Holy Bible, killing is undeniably abundant with citizens killing, God killing, and sometimes the two killing mutually. The Hebrews were naturally a murderous people but killed to keep the faith. The Holy Bible contains many instances of killing. In the Bible, God states what will happen to His followers if they disobey him, "The Lord will send you cursing, confusion, and rebuke in all that you set your hand to do, until you are destroyed and until you perish quickly, because of the wickedness of your doings in which you have forsaken Me" (Deuteronomy 28:20). With these teachings from God, one would think ther

Every time a bear kills a child, should God be accused of murder? Anyway, the children were sinners just like all people are, so God could have killed them if He wanted to because He made them in the first place. Both politics and the methods of conducting war are subject to moral evaluation: a fact is more and more forgotten in our age. Those who believe in God's word understand the difference between murder and killing. "You shall put all its males to the sword, but the women and the little ones, the cattle, and everything else in the city, all its spoil, you shall take as booty for yourselves; and you shall enjoy the spoil of your enemies, which the LORD your God has given are very far from you, which are not cities of the nations here. This provision, however, is far from justifying war, which is an evil. However, once the stories are read and understood, it is clear that the Lord only punishes out of love for his people. When first reading the books, one would believe that God is harsh and unjust. The events of this murder can be used to argue against the ancient tradition of capital punishment. " (2 Kings 2:23-24) In this excerpt God did not kill the children; the bears did. "Then he (God's Prophet Elisha) went up from there to Bethel; and as he was going up the road, some youths came from the city and mocked him, and said to him, 'Go up, you baldhead! Go up, you baldhead!' So he turned around and looked at them, and pronounced a curse on them in the name of the LORD. Since people are always justified in following God's orders, it is not murder to kill when God commands it. Defense can require not only self-sacrifice, but also force and sometimes murder. The books of the Bible contain these stories of killing, murdering, and suffering, so those who believe can realize the awesome power and forgiveness of God. The main responsibility for war lies on the rulers and leaders of people.
