Public education vs. private education
Public Education vs. Private Education A person's education is one of the most important factors in determining whether or not they will become a productive member of society. That is why when considering a school the quality of the education is almost as important as the fact that you are getting an education itself. So when private schools came into the picture the debate then began between public and private schools. Also private schools are predominately white so students don't get to experience all the different cultures that they will have to encounter in the real world. There is not so much as a school-wide prayer in a public school. In public schools every child is provided with an education regardless of social or economic factors. Often the quality of a child's education is determined by the economic status of their family. The kids do not think that they are better just because of what school they go to. Children with disabilities are also able to interact with other children that have disabilities. Schools also have extra curricular activities like sports where students compete against other schools. Schools should educate each child as if they were training the next president. This gives the teacher the opportunity to devote more one on one time with each student. This allows the students to focus more on their studies. Violence in private schools is not as bad as the violence in public schools. Education is the key ingredient in shaping a child's future. The test scores of private schools are higher than those of public schools are. In effect the curriculum practices will be based on the denomination's beliefs.
