Al Capone

             In this essay about Al Capone, I attend to prove to you that he was a cold heart killer who gave no mercy. Capone was a notorious gang member with no respect to anyone and would kill anyone on request or if someone just made him mad.
             Alphonse Capone was born on January 17, 1899 in Brooklyn, New. His parents immigrated to the United States in 1893 from Italy. Capone was from a family of eleven and was the fourth oldest. He grew up in a dangerous neighborhood of Brooklyn and was a member of two Kid Gangs the Brooklyn Rippers or Bin Booms. Capone was very good when it came to street smarts. Al was terrible in school because he was illiterate. He was kicked out of school in the sixth grade, when he was 14. He was kicked out of school for beating a women teacher and knocking her to the ground. After school he took a job as a pinsetter at a bowling alley. Capone was an excellent pool player winning every eightball tournament held in Brooklyn. While on the streets he became an expert knife fighter.
             With his reputation Al was invited to join the Five Pointers, the most powerful gang in New York City. The Five Pointer's leader was Johnny Torrio, and there were over 1,500 members. This gang focused on burglary, extortion, robbery, assault, and murder. While Al Capone was with the Five Pointers he worked at a restaurant as a bouncer. While at the restaurant he got many facial scars, including one five inches long across his right cheek. This gave him the nickname "Scarface". Capone soon became Torrio's right hand man sending Capone first to do all his dirty work. Capone was sent to beat up people who were behind on their payments, and working as a pimp beating up girls who didn't give him their money. Al soon became recognized by his gang as a vicious fighter with explosives, knifes, and gun's. He became an excellent hitman with revolver's and automatic weapons. This was due to many months
