Starbucks or Bread Graden

             Starbucks and Bread Garden have always been competition for each other, but what could be so different about them? They're both geared towards the older more sophisticated group of people who have the money to spend on a fancy coffee. Both shops are jazzed up, well designed and full of excitement and atmosphere. Tonight without even knowing it, was going to be the night in which me and my mom could compare the two.
             So, there we were sitting there after 3 episodes of re-runs on a late Friday night pondering what to do next. It was exactly 10:30pm and we wanted to get out of the house and catch some late October fresh air. We sat there in the dark, calm and quiet in our house discussing what we could do and we came to a conclusion. We decided we needed a mocha from our near by coffee shop to satisfy our cravings. It sounded so good, I could taste the espresso soothing down my throat as we sat there and drooled. We put on our coats and shoes, ran out the door and hopped into the car. This night was soon going to be a night we would never forget, here we come!
             As we were driving along the main roads towards the direction of the mild coffee smell, my patience was slowly fading away. We pulled into the parking lot, parked the car and looked over at Starbucks and it was just mobbed with people, laughing, smiling, and having a good old time. It wasn't much of a surprise to me and my mom, taking note that it was a Friday night and the late movies had just let out. Starbucks had always been the place to hang out after a movie to sit around, socialize while sipping a coffee flavored mocha with your friends. We stopped to think where the next closest Starbucks would be, but that didn't matter, I wanted a mocha, and I wanted it now.
