Hawaii has 6 islands. Which are Hawaii, Maui, Molokai, Lanai, Oahu, and Kauai. The Hawaiian Islands are one of the most beautiful place on earth. Encircled by white sandy beaches dotted with swaying palm trees, the islands evoke images of paradise. (See map #1)(In here, I'll talk mainly about Oahu Island) Oahu is the most popular island for visitors. Hawaii's capital, Honolulu, is on thisvibrant Island, which is also the home of some of the world's finest hotels, restaurants, boutiques and museums. Nightlife here offers everything from exciting Polynesian revues to hot dance club to symphony concerts. (see map #2) Though other parts of the sprawling Pacific group called Polynesia were settled as far back as 1000BC,it wasn't until 500AD that anyone bothered to beach themselves permanently in Hawaii. Early colonizers included the Tahitians, who repeatedly sailed a mere 2700mi (4350km) to dump more people and supplies on their new rocks.
