In both short stories technology is the focus of society. " Consequently leading to no mentel growth. As result in both stories helping the future of man. Technology is suppose to be for the better not for the lower. " Therefore they use technology for exploration. Nonetheless, how we use technology today is how the future is going to be tommorow. However in both stories it uses technology for the commonwealth of man. For example it says," Three police cars down to one. Either for controlling mind growth or exploring the outer regions of space.
