Acceptance for college

I would like to thank you for actually reading my letter this far. I have taken eight science courses are Lafayette High School, all of which are on the honors level. My peak score on the ACT was my reading in which I scored a 30. My mother will not be able to able to aid me with my college expenses because she has expenses of her own. I plan to major in an area that involves a science of some sort, possibly computer science.

I have yet to make a definite decision on where I will go to college, but it will be somewhere that pushes me to use my full potential. I have held a job for three years of my high school career, but I have not been able to start any type of college savings. College is a big step for me and I want to get everything I can out of the experience. The only real form of income that could put me through college is my 15-hour per week job. I have excelled in every subject area; particularly science. I want to be pushed to the extent of my capabilities. I have never received a grade lower than an A- in any science course I have taken.
