Character Analysis on the book Not Wanted on the Voyage

Japeth’s uncertainty and blind following of his father Noah creates strong motivation for Emma as a character as well as Mrs. She becomes distant from everyone else and eventually leaves just as the arc is completed and the rainfall has begun. He later finds himself doing whatever he can to make his father proud of him and to have faith in him. Her inner turmoil is unleashed when she finds Emma’s older sister who is mentally disabled alone and abandoned during the middle of the end of the world! She brings Lotte (the child) to the arc and preposes to Noah that she will only go onto the arc if Lotte were allowed to join them. The conflicting opinions show themselves early on in the book such as page 13 when she replies to Noah in an argument “The only principles that matter here are yours!”. She is quite young in the book considering she is 13 and has been wed. This creates a tension inside of Emma that she cannot unleash and spawns a drastic character change. Noyes and Noah have throughout the novel progresses the line of events that occur through the plot. These conflicts between his son and his wife kept the plot interesting and advanced the storyline by creating twists to keep the plot advancing. His feelings about religion raised conflict between Mrs. These conflicts are made much more dramatic due to family relation to Ham and Mrs. This conflict between his personal intrest and his love and respect for his mother creates a crucial alliance in the book and is integral to the structure of the plot. beliefs and morals are tested throughout the novel from start to finish.
