Each year, about 25 million people visit New York. They go to the Statue of Liberty and Niagara Falls and other great famous place in New York City. New York City lies along the ocean in southeastern New York. About 7.3 million people live there. No other United State city is even half that big. The city has five boroughs. They are Manhattan, the Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, and Staten Island. Brooklyn and Queens are on the west end of Long Island. People travel between the boroughs by highways and subway trains.
