Religion

the purpose religion could be to let man be aware of himself, to be in constant touch with his inner feelings and in doing so he should achieve purpose to his life. I have no right to judge people for not believing in God, just as they have no right to tell me my religion in some ways are wrong. The world will become a better place, slowly, child by child, adult by adult, once faith is exposed and taught.

So does religion do more harm than good? It is up to each individual to decide that for himself. To some, God is what gets them through their day; to others it’s making a few more bucks. Religion can be very beneficial in many ways, but with out the knowledge it can be misused and harmful. Religion indeed can be very beneficial, or on the contrary very harmful, or even have no influence at all whether it is positive or negative.

Often we think of little things we take for granted such as food or clothing, but have you ever stopped to think about where you live. They only seem to be religious or pray when they want or need something.

This class has made me think of religion from different points of views, from different people, cultures and societies throughout the world. How can so much pain exist in the world, if God exists? Also people now days are just too busy to look to God for help, they are to busy on their cell phones trying to close their next deal.

The violence and hatred is obvious, but what about all the good that goes unseen, the small cases of inspiration in people that are not murdered by the media. How these people who seemed too peaceful and constructive, change into something completely different. Another possibility could be they just do not know where to look and do not have the knowledge.
