Six Flags Fiesta Texas has so many rides and attractions to fit anyone’s needs. My favorite, and I am sure yours too, is roller coasters. Fiesta Texas has 7 hair-raising roller coaster rides to include the world’s largest wooden roller coaster. How’s that for adventure? Besides the roller coasters, Fiesta Texas has many other rides for all ages and even has a water park. At night Fiesta Texas performs the most beautiful Laser show that I have ever seen. It is a must see event. The other place full of adventure that you would love to visit is Sea World. Just like Fiesta Texas, Sea World has many things to offer to include thrill rides and animal shows. Sea World is great fun for all ages. Both of these amusement parks are affordable and a great place to spend a summer weekend at. If you want to have fun at a slower pace, then try Brackenridge Park.

Theater is a popular event in San Antonio. It is especially beautiful during Christmas when the overhanging trees are decked out in Christmas lights. The other theater is one of the undiscovered treasures in San Antonio. The Majestic Theater is open year round so you will always have an opportunity to enjoy the many wonders of theater. At the end of the River Walk, you can do a little shopping at the very large Riverwalk Mall. After you see the movie you can head across the street and see the actual Alamo.

Originally named Misión San Antonio de Valero, the Alamo served as home to missionaries and their Indian converts for nearly seventy years. This theater features many children’s plays based on great works of children’s literature like Charlotte’s Web, Stega Nora, Ann Frank’s Diary and Bunnicula. A trip to San Antonio would not be complete without a visit to this historic battle site.
