Hero

            Throughout the history, human beings have faced many diffuculties and they will continue to have diffuculties which life creates for them. How many people do you think have been able to cope or get rid of these obstacles of life. If you think this you will see that it is really a hard work to encounter the diffuculties so at this people need heros to save them sometimes .Heros are the people, that dont'like ordinary people with their inoidinary feelings, exaggrated talents and wiht their other powerfull chracteristics.In this essay I will make a discussion about the subject who are heros, what characteristics they have and my thesis will be "As human beings we will always need a hero to save us".
             So who are these special or what makes them special Firstly , as we read in the books "Odyssey" and "Gýlgamesh" , a hero should be smart in order to be successfull. Odysseus uses his intelligence and being cuninng to escape and outwit from the Cyclops who is the son of Poseidon. To illustrate, when he meets with Cyclops , Odysseus says that "I am Nobody " by saying this he disguises his identity and while Cyclops mpourns when he is being killed as "Nobody kills me"" so nobody understands that he is being killed. This shows that a hero should be cunning and clever.Also Gýlgamesh uses his mind when he is dealing Enkidu with sending him Harlot to civilize Enkidu. Also hero must be trustable and protect his people.In one scene of Gýlgamesh it is said that Gýlgamesh is both in front and at back,this shows how he is trustable and protect his public.Next we can say that hero should be powerful enough and resistant to the obstacles. I think Odysseus would not been called as a hero i f he didn't return home despite the temptations. He resisted to the punishments of the gods, he coped with Poseidon but at last he returned Ithake.
