Freedom is a beautiful thing to have, but when does my freedom become a prison? If I have freedom then I have no restriction, and I can do whatever I want to do, but only to a certain extent. With independence, I also can express myself and voice my opinions, but I am not always allowed to act upon them. Even though my "freedom" has restrictions, I must think, would absolutely no freedom be a good thing or bad thing?
             With freedom I have no boundaries and can view anything form around the world that is broadcasted on television. Freedom allows me to watch TV when I want to and watch different kinds of channels. But the freedom of watching channels that may show the viewing public, especially kids, an extreme amount of violence or drugs may cause controversy among parents and other adult. I know one time I was watching MTV and my parents questioned if I should be seeing the show due to the language content. But TV also teaches us about the world, and it is a vital form of communication. Millions of people across the globe tuned in to here of the tragic terrorist attacks of 9/11. It brought our nation closer and other parts of the world as well. So our freedom of watching TV does society more good than bad.
             Also, to me, freedom is being allowed to express myself by wearing different types of clothes and not being limited to uniforms. Having my choice of clothing enables me to express myself. I wear comfortable and loose clothing, which means I like to feel relaxed, and some people wear tight clothes because they may feel confident. But we can't always wear any clothes we want because it may offend the people around you. In my school you have to wear shirts that cover your shoulders and stomach because the school doesn't think anything less is appropriate for pupils to wear. At least we have the right to wear appropriate clothing, unlike the Jewish during World War II; they were forced to wear certain uniforms with the Jewi...
