Breast Cancer

             I could tell you all of the stories of women with Breast Cancer. It would take up many pages filled with womens troubles, tribulations and inspiration. Although, you and I would both enjoy hearing them, there is one in particular that took place in Australia. Her name is Lilly. She was a beautiful young woman attending college and starting plans for her future. Seh joined the drama club and gained friends by the bunch. One day, she found something strange within her breast. A lump. She had thought of it being breast cancer, but didn't worry much because she had no history of it being in her family. She had it checked and at the age of 19, she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer.
             During a period of sex months she had to udnergo surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. As she was losing the cancer, she also lost her hair, her self esteem and her friends. The whole treatment was taking energy away and she had doubts that she was going to survive through it. She had to move to the city where she was getting treatment and it troubled her because it was so far from home. Through all of this, she gained wisdom, strength and new friends which became a significant part of her life. Five years later, she's healthy and living with her husband and two children.
             Many women like Lilly undergo many tribulations when they were diagnosed with breast cancer. Her case was proof it does not only happen in women with family hisotry of breast cancer but also to those young women that don't. Breast Cancer affects everyone, women and men. The only ways to prevent cancer is to be knowledgable about what it is, whom it affects and its treatments.
