Theodore Rooselvet

After three years as Head of the U.S. Roosevelt decided to run for a second term and win on his own accord. He chose his words more carefully to try and keep his votes and maybe gain back some voters he might have lost during his term.

Most importantly, he placed his people in key party positions and maneuvered Mark Hanna, the chairman of the Republican National Committee, to endorse his candidacy months prior to the 1904 convention. In 1978, the Theodore Roosevelt National Park in North Dakota was made in honor of him. These are all huge historical events that made a huge difference. By 1907, his second term, the US Navy was second best in the world, after Great Britain. He more so directed from the porch of his home in Oyster Bay.

Theodore Roosevelt was an extraordinary president. power over the Western Hemisphere with the Roosevelt Corollary; he changed the meat packing industry; he ended the laissez faire policy.

Roosevelt also changed the foreign policy. His journey ended on January 6, 1919 when he died of an embolism at his home while still working. He accomplished this goal like few others ever have. He had several projects and none got forgotten or left unfinished. Roosevelt brought the US into the new century, with modern policies and a goal to make it a respected leader in all countries. Another interesting fact is that teddy bears were inventing because of him.
