The pride and prejudice by Jane austen

Jane Austen's The Pride and the Prejudice, was her masterwork that was written in the year 1813. She wrote this novel in her late thirties. Many critics commented on Jane Austen's novel The Pride and the Prejudice, it was no surprise that many enjoyed this novel. Sir Walter Scott stated that "That lady (referring to Jane) had a way with describing the involvements, and feelings, and characters of ordinary life, which is to me the most wonderful that I have ever met with. (Scott) Another critic had much to say about Jane and her novel The Pride and the Prejudice. His name is Francis Hovey Stoddard, and he stated "We can claim that this novel is not only an expression of a complete novel form; it is not only an expression of a complete literary method; it is also an embodiment of completed ideals.
