By now almost everyone has heard of the Atkins, South Beach, or The Zone diets. Many Americans either have been or are now on one of these diets. Fad diets don’t create good principles for healthy nutrition they just create issues for your body. The USDA needs to educate the people on how to diet in a nutritionally sound manner to lose weight and keep your body healthy. Why is that? I believe it is because they receive adequate nutrition for their bodies. Others diets restrict the fruits and vegetables your body needs. Eating all meat isn’t good for you, eliminating bread isn’t good, nor is only eating vegetables and fruit; you need a balanced diet.

Considering that the United States is the fattest nation in the world and that more than sixty percent of Americans are overweight or obese; a majority will try some type of diet. Instead they should follow a nutritional diet in order to lose weight.

Often diet plans recommend little or no milk, but what happens to you bones? Bones will not get the calcium that they need to be strong. Research had proven that people who create their own diets lose the most weight. balanced diet is needed to receive proper nutrition. Years from now people will suffer from not having the proper nutrition.
