Unconstitutional?

If this ruling is upheld by the U. Supreme Court, our country will go through one of the largest governmental revolutions in history for we will have to re- write many portions of our government that have been the same for years. I believe “under God” must be kept in the Pledge of Allegiance. The one dissenting vote from the court, Circuit Judge Ferdinand F. hese words were deliberated recently in the 9th U. ”

Now are they unconstitutional or not? Should this decision be upheld or overturned? I say we should work to overturn this outrageous ruling! As Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle put it, “This is just nuts!” If we remove this portion of the Pledge of Allegiance, do we then have to remove “In God We Trust” from our currency, and would we have to stop the Supreme Court from opening its sessions with, “God save the United States and this honorable court”, and would we have to declare that our own Constitution is unconstitutional because it mentions God or the creator four different times! I think not!

Honestly I believe the two judges that voted to remove “under God” from the Pledge, are just trying to get attention on the national scene. The court made a startling decision it said that the words must be removed from the Pledge of Allegiance because they are an unconstitutional “endorsement of religion. Fernandez, stated on his colleague’s decision, “we will soon find ourselves prohibited from using our album of patriotic songs in many public settings.
