The reason I chose Southern University at New Orleans is because my dream has always been to attend Southern University in Baton Rouge. The only thing that stopped me was family problems (and maybe the fact that I didn't get myself established yet). So I had to reroute my path and attend SUNO. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that SUNO is a bad choice, it's just that it's not my first choice. So I think I would like to reroute my paper and tell youWhy I chose Southern University?.
             SU inspired me first because it was known all around the world asThe Jaguar Nation?. That really had me in awe. Secondly it was an African American school. Not that I'm racist or anything, I just appreciate my heritage, not hate on anyone else's. Those two reasons had me already to go.
             Then when my cousins and friends started taking me to the football games, that was it. That's all I had needed to see all along. But knowing college life is not just football games and organizations, I had to take a deeper look into Southern University. Guess what? Just as I hoped for, Southern University has a good program for my major. I would like to enter in the medical field, so my major is Biology/Pre-Med.
             Now back to the football games. The football games are amazing. Once you pop, you can't stop. Please let's not get started on Homecoming games.(Well actually, we can get started on the homecoming games.) That's whenThe Jaguar Nation? really gets down. The two schools combine and they combine into one big party.
             The organizations are so extraordinary. I'm in luv with Delta Zeta Theta. I think I'm a for sure candidate because I already know my Greek Letter Alphabets and I?ve been in two junior sororities. I'm most definitely in luv with the Omega brothers. They are just so lively.
