Today our labor unions are much diversified because of many laws, movements, and hard work. Members can vote in amalgamation elections or on approval of the bargaining accord. Blacks now have many of the same rights because they stuck through the hard times to gain their reward. In any specific example a union is defensible in seeking compensation, whether of wages, hours, or other circumstances, only when these are in accord with the decree of right.
