As the story went on, Juliet got a sleeping potion that would put her to sleep for a couple of days. After the ball, all they thought about was each other, and it seemed as though that was the only thing they thought about. Romeo ran off to Mantua trying to gain some sort of independence. Therefore the beginning of the play showed how different the couples’ worlds were, yet how similar their characteristics were. They both had mutual feelings towards numerous amounts of people including Tybalt, Paris, Friar Laurence, etc. As the Prologue stated, they were “star-crossed lovers” and fate had a lot to do with the characteristics and the timing of the actions they both possessed.
