In this play these two families are portrayed as enemies. Until the end of the story tragic events happen that bring the two families together. Juliet knew they could not be with each other because of the differences between the families. Juliet argued with him saying no, but the father made it clear that she was going to have to marry the guy who was like a prince, a fine nice fellow, and would treat Juliet well. The city said that they would kill him if he tried to stay but he disregarded that. Then Juliet's dad told Juliet that he had found a good man for Juliet to marry. Their marriage did seem to be going alright other than they had to keep it a secret. Juliet did not want that, because she loved Romeo. When Juliet heard about that she was upset, and realized if Romeo had not killed Tybalt, then Tybalt would have killed Romeo. Romeo heard the news and came back to see if it was so. They loved each other very much and each vowed they would give their life up for one another. The prince now came to Romeo with a sword to his throat, and was going to kill him. But abruptly their son Mina came and said, "Daddy will you come play soccer with me now?", and the prince exploded in tears and apologized to Romeo and allowed him to stay. The potion would effect her for 2 days and 10 hours. Some topics in this essay:
