advertising in modern world

The downward spiral of the generations developed post 1980s has been greatly influenced by the dribble flowing out of the radio, television, and production companies. Rap is the root of development for a large problem in society as to how it is raising the future generation. These role models of "hood rats, gangsters, and thugs" are portraying negative images and the kids are worshiping them, it is not just the music but the image they create, spewing of poor values. A seemingly simple answer of deleting this culture, or molding it to fit the once wholesome values of American society will be reached only with much difficulty, and will struggle with the ability to come into play seeing as how many children are unable to witness their moral degradation. Since many children are unaware of how rap music can shape their thoughts and actions in a negative way, parents must engage in appropriate actions to ensure that their children are not exposed to material that does not reflect their personal values; consequently, rather then blame society for the behavioral problems of young people, individuals must look inward to determine how they can make a positive influence on young developing minds.

To first understand an enemy, as in war, a historical viewpoint as well as psychological analysis must be taken into place. Reflecting the stylings of heavy metal, punk, or even more specificly, Marilyn Manson; people are drawn to any style that is pushing some sort of limits. A group of women are standing up for the children and other women that are having rights taken away from them so that others will have better lives. However, the downgraded society in which many rappers were forced to live in, and therefore conquer, is a determining factor in their views of life, and therefore music. " this is the steps that need to be taken to stop this downgrading of women. Can they not see how their children are growing up? Can they see the direction at which their culture is heading?Besides all the factors that are leading up to bad morals of the children, essentially it is the parents that have to keep them in line. These uneducated backgrounds are effecting the children of society. This has not worked to the full extent because friends and family members are buying these children the CD's they cannot attain, even the parents are contributing to the cause. The women state "The women at Spelman were not having it. Although this cultural genocide may seem like a good idea at first, it is not practical or legal in any way. They were tired of being referred to as bitches, as 'hos, as freaks. Something like the stop smoking adds but aimed at children to stray away from the bad values of their culture and try to make something of themselves. In an article "Black women fight rap video degradation" by Stanly Crouch, he writes about how these groups are following rappers to autograph signings and such to point out how the rappers are deminishing the respect of women. The society further cannot take the blame and it is placed onto the parent's hands.
