Jimi Hendrix Experience

Jimi Hendrix was born November 27, 1942 in Seattle Washington. His parents weren’t

the greatest role models for him and they had a lot of problems raising him in a stable

environment, so his grandmother helped raise him to become a decent human being.

12 and he pretty much taught himself how to play it on his own. At the age of 16, Jimi

was thrown out of high school because he was caught holding hands with a white girl,

and since he was black,descrimination became a big problem for him in the early 60’s.

When he was 17, he enlisted in the paratrooper division of the army and began jumping

out of planes and liked it alot. But after 14 months of doing that he began to have little

injuries that caused him to be discharged from the army.

In closing i would like to conclude that today i informed you how Jimi’s guitar playing

started at an early start in his life, and i told you a brief description of his childhood. And Thirdly, I told you how Jimi showed the world how he was

ahead of his time musically, and how his death became a worldwide sadness. The band toured in Europe for awhile and got a record deal. The Jimi Hendrix Experience

split up in 1969 despite a few of the bandmates differences and Jimi teamed up with Billy

Cox to play at the 1969 Woodstock. So, If

anyone asks you if you know anybody who can play the guitar with their teeth, just tell

them that their was a rock legend who could do just that. From then on

his albums sold in the millions in America and in Europe. After he toured

awhile with that band, the bassist from the Animals named Chas Chandler saw a show of

them and became seriously interested in Jimi Hendrix. Noel Redding was the bass player, and Mitch Mitchell became

the drummer. com] Carlos Santana once said in an interview, “All of Jimi Hendrix’s music tells

a tale of the 60’s and also of the future. Soon after woodstock, Jimi decided to go back to London to lay low for

awhile, then the heavy drug use started. That was the end of Jimi’s life and career as a musician.
