Fury Friends-compare and contrast of dogs and cats as pets

Pets inhabit many homes around the world. Deciding on a pet can be a difficult decision and the majority of the time people tend to choose either a dog or a cat. Before choosing between the two and bringing a fury creature home a new pet owner should try to decide which characteristics are compatible with his or her life. Usually, the differences between a cat and a dog outnumber the similarities and serve as the deciding factor between the two. With either a dog or a cat, there will be a new addition to the family and much responsibility comes along with this new member. Both depend on their owner entirely for food, shelter, and affection. Dogs and cats demand a great deal of time and expect daily attention. Great advantages come along with having a dog or a cat such as owner loyalty and good companionship. Emotional attachment and the loss of a pet are some drawbacks that are associated with bonding with a pet. Both a dog and a cat, much like a child, are known to create unwanted messes and can become an inconvenience to clean up after. The owner must watch where he or she allows his or her dog or cat to roam to protect the animal from hurting itself or something else. Both the dog and the cat can be

The cost of pet food can be another expense determined by the size of the animal, as well as, the brand the owner chooses. Once the cat is satisfied, it does not want to be bothered and will venture off to find some comfortable place to nap for hours. The cat knows what nature requires and performs its activities without wavering; however, the dog is clumsy at taking on tasks that are basic to living for the first time. The dog makes friends easily whereas the cat is rarely sociable. On the other hand, the dog is the complete opposite and feels its owner is a god. A cat rarely does this and is appalled that its owner ever left. The love one receives from something that is completely dependent is unexplainable. Dogs and cats truly teach lessons in life, such as responsibility and love, and enrich one's life. It is very apparent if a dog is content or not, yet the cat is a more mysterious creature and its mood is less obvious. Differing in their personalities, dogs and cats approach people in different ways. The dog acknowledges any breathing object with a wagging tail, whereas the cat holds its head high with its nose in the air like some royalty. A dog is very genuine taking one day at a time and actually enjoying it. The dog is also much more forgiving than the cat; for example, a dog is delighted to see its owner return home from work and greets its owner at the door with lots of love. After carefully considering dogs and cats' generalized personalities and actions, it should be easy for a prospective pet owner to see which one is compatible with his or her lifestyle. A cat is more well-behaved than a dog, for instance, a cat will not bark at visitors or greet them either.
