I was cultured in a family that has great regard for education and values. Sincerity and hard work were the virtues that were inculcated automatically in my character. Since my childhood I was always enchanted with the on goings in the scientific world specially in the area of health and biological sciences. I have always been keen on participating in various science seminars and competitions. I was awarded for my performance in a seminar on biotechnology, and my research and insight on “Coronary Heart Diseases” for a presentation for National Science Congress was highly commended.
For the past many years Indian Drug and Biotech industry has shown stupendous growth and presented tons of opportunities. I would rate this as one of the most illustrated work of my career, my thesis and research on “Spectrophotometric and conductometric analysis of cerium-ofloxacin complex”. But I realize, that to make a mark, one needs to be versatile, have a sound understanding of prime and related areas, and innovate constantly. Biological sciences have evolved remarkably through breath taking research by which the mankind has hugely benefited. I was immensely benefited with the concepts intrinsic in core subjects like physical, organic & inorganic chemistry, anatomy & physiology of chordates & non-chordates, chemistry of natural & synthetic drugs, formulation and development. The Masters program had a whole gamut of specialized and core subjects like Chemistry of Engineering Materials, Modern Analytical Methods, Chemistry of Natural Products, Synthetic & Natural Drug Chemistry, Computer Programming, Organic, Advanced Physical and Inorganic Chemistry, Oils, Fats, Rubber, Waxes etc. A polished edifice for this strong foundation can make it kindle with all its brightness. The rapidity, sensitivity and reproducibility of my proposed method and technique found successful application in routine laboratory analysis.
Biology and Chemistry are very closely connected, although a large part of my education has been into chemical and pharmaceutical sciences. After going through a rigorous education requiring very high standards of performance, my thirst for pursuing my interests only deepened. My performance was rated as excellent and I secured 2nd rank in our University.
For my excellent credentials and qualifications, I got an opportunity to practice all my acquired knowledge, working as a Production Supervisor at the herbal export division of Plethico Pharmaceuticals Ltd.
