Jose's Cafe

In the fall of September 2001, my dad and I, along with six of my friends and their dads, traveled south to a little city in South Texas named Cotulla. As an annual tradition, we go to Cotulla, partly to male bond, but mainly to hunt white-winged doves. Cotulla is known to hunters as one of the greatest places to hunt doves. This city is also known for harvesting of the largest watermelons in the state. My friends and I come to a conclusion that this restaurant used to be an old gas station. My plate consists of two cheese enchiladas, a tamale, rice, beans, and a guacamole salad. The man finishes the song and receives an applause from us and others eating at Jose's. The drinks have an extra kick of tequila, which is quit an eye opener. It is the best enchiladas I have ever eaten. The sky is a bright orange, which favors the orange floor tile in the restaurant. iked it has found its final resting place. The roof was made of tin and apparently looked original on the building. The food is unlike any other Mexican food I have ever eaten before. I saw that a man across the room was removing tortillas from a boiling hot pan of cooking oil, then sprinkling cinnamon and sugar on it.
