Walt Whitman

             Introduction: Walt Whitman was an American poet, who is considered to be the greatest of all American poets. His most famous literary work is Leaves of Grass. This collection is considered one of the world's major literary works. Whitman's poems talk about the praises of the United States and democracy. His love for America grew with his faith that Americans will reach new heights spiritually and worldly.
