Cell Phone

The use cellular phone has spread like wild fire in the last ten years. "Million people now subscribe to wireless service---up from 7.5 million in 1991" (Moore 30). It has become a part of everyday life for many American citizens, and a good number of people depend on them to carry out daily operations. Unfortunately, many of these daily operations occur while the individual is driving. Cell phones and other forms of wireless communication also create distractions and increase a driver's risk on the road. The use of cell phones pose a risk for society in two ways; First, cell phone conversations in car distract drivers, and create safety hazard; and secondly overuse of cell phones can result in overexposure to radiation. The use of cell phones should be banned while driving because talking on the cell phone and driving pose a great danger in the public safety. When the cell phone rings, the driver immediately take his/her eyes off the road, and pick up the phone. He/she begins to start and engage in a conversation. What he/she didn't know; that what he/she does could put the public safety in danger. When the driver is engaging on a cell phone conversation, the use of cell phone reduces
