Micheal Jordan was born to James and Delores Jordan on February 17th, 1963. Micheal was interested in sports at the age of 12. He was the top player on his team at this time. He played the position of outfielder and pitcher. He kind of lost his touch in baseball because he wasn't the best when he reached the age 15. So he decided to try for the basketball team but got cut. So he decided that he was going to get etter and played his brother whenever he could. When he got better he went to the University of North Carolina as a basketball recruit. He became an all-time starter in the 81-82 season as a freshman. In his sophomore and junior year in
Michael has been Most Valuable Player three times and Defensive player of the year in 1988. The Bulls went on a tremendous winning streak but lost in the playoffs to the Orlando Magic. high school he was nominated as College Basketball's Player of the Year. In the 87-88 season Jordan lead his team in scoring in 81 out of the 82 games. He dedicated his first home run to his father who died. With the help of Michael the Bulls ended up having the best records in history. Michael wanted to pursue his lifelong dream of playing professional baseball. Michael tried out for the White Sox and got rejected and ended up playing with the Burmingham Barons. 5 million dollars for his Air Jordan name and sign. Jordan came back to basketball but did not wear the same number. The only player beating him is Wilt Chamberlain. When he came back he had not lost his touch. He then switched his number from 45 back to 23. Micheal's name became big and companies wanted to use his name for their business.
