For my sophomore experience day, I visited Frank’s adult center. It is a place where mentally and physically disabled adults come to work. They do get paid for the work that they do. Overall it was a very moving day. When I first got to the center I was a little afraid. I was not used to seeing people like this. Many could not even walk and had to be pushed around in wheelchairs. Some were screaming and pounding on tables simply because they could not help it. This kind of . . .
He couldn’t decide which end opened or he would miss the bag with the beads. He was new at the center so he was as shy as I was. This was good because I could actually relate with what Steve was going through. This was because he looks exactly like Robin Williams. This was mostly because they were so under-privileged. I was very surprised at how much of a challenge this was for Steve. Then I will not take the good things in my life for granted. thing was new to me so I was apprehensive to work with these people at first. We were not supposed to do it for them, so I had to sit there while he labored for about an hour on these bags. Seeing all these people made me really appreciate the gifts that I have. Patience is something that I have little of so Steve was a good match for me.
