             Animal farm is said to be a fairy story an allegory, a parable and a surface story. The book can be interpreted in many different ways. If you were a 7or8 year old child, you would think of it as a fairy story but if you are, 14 as I am you would be looking deeper into the book and seeing the other meaning of the book. This was a fact that Orwell hated. For this reason, the manuscript was almost impossible to publish. Stalin was a crucial wartime ally who was helping the way towards victory against Hitler, the very fact that the backbone of Orwell's book was accusations pointed at Stalin's betrayal of the Russian Revolution. Orwell did eventually publish his book in England on the 17 august 1945 and one year later in the United States.
